SSUP I love shuffles. This is another hommage to Billy Cobham, but also to Jan Hammer, as the melody's first notes are typical of his style. Those bends were copied by many of us in the early 70's... guitar players and keyboard players, alike. This is also dedicated to the memory of Tommy Bolin, who is a very relevant player in the history of fusion. Dennis Chambers, Bunny Brunel and Chris Palmaro did this piece more than justice, keeping the rocking vintage fusion vibe, but with their own take. Amen!

This is not a representation of Moroccan music, but a channeling of oriental music and spirit in a modern “jazz” influenced way.
